A Busy Start To The Year   You are here: Home » News Detail

It certainly has been a very busy start to the year with lots of exciting new initiatives beginning at our school.  Year 4-6 students have finished their swimming lessons and are looking forward to our Faction Swimming Carnival scheduled for March 21st at the Mandurah Aquatic Recreation Centre. This year we are emphasising fun and participation with some extra novelty events as well as the competitive races.

We recently invited the Assistant Regional Executive Director, Mr Gary Anderson, to visit our school to view the high standards and quality programs and learning we are proud of at Halls Head Primary school.  He visited a number of classrooms and spoke to students and teachers during his visit. His comments strongly endorsed the direction our school is taking, the programs on offer and the obvious impact of high quality teaching evident across the school.
