27th March 2018

On Friday, 23rd of March, thirty of our Year 6 students travelled to Bunbury with Miss Tyler and Mrs McNamara to attend the 2018 GRIP Student Leadership Conference.

The day was filled with fun, practical and interactive training sessions. Students examined the qualities leaders need and how they can transform themselves into leaders.  Students were able to interact with learners from other schools and many were asked on stage to participate in group activities and to share their ideas.

The main messages of the day were that leaders display integrity and students can all create positive change in their school environment. We would like to thank Mrs McNamara for her support on the day, Mrs Hacket for her help leading up to the excursion and the parents of all the students who attended.
